Improving the productivity and profitability
of your skilled trade business

Focus on Your Trade

Most skilled trade businesses are run by a sole proprietor. This makes hiring professional office staff uneconomical and ultimately requires the owner to balance their limited time between all of the vital customer touchpoints:

  • Fielding inbound calls
  • Scheduling & confirming appointments
  • Completing the trade work itself

Ditch Unprofitable Tasks

The customer is not willing to pay for anything other than the trade work. But you can’t just stop all of those other customer activities that don’t produce direct revenue.

Letters & Ladders enables you to focus exclusively on what you do best; billable work. Forget the struggle of trying to schedule appointments at a loud job site, in a basement with limited cell service, on a ladder or in the truck as you navigate to the next job. Our 20+ years in the skilled trades industry positions us to intimately understand your business and represent it with an unmatched level of courtesy and professionalism.

Four Generations in the Industry

IMG_2699-e1447434263809

Letters & Ladders was founded in 2020 by husband and wife duo Kyle & Lindsey Konieczka.  Kyle & Lindsey grew up in the skilled trades industry as their families both operated plumbing, heating and air conditioning businesses spanning multiple generations.

After cutting their teeth in the industry at a young age, Lindsey continued with her family’s business in nearly every job imaginable and ultimately settled in as general manager while Kyle leveraged his upbringing to forge a successful career in accounting and strategy at multiple Fortune 500 firms including Quad/Graphics and Harley-Davidson.

The two decided to combine their complimentary experience to create a unique service that enables skilled tradesmen and women to focus on their core competency and improve profitability.

A highly experienced front office shouldn’t be attainable only for the largest of shops.  Letters & Ladders levels the playing field by providing small and medium-sized shops with access to a professional front office.
